Duffy Llama
What can you say about a guy who calls himself Llama? At a young age Duffy was given his choice of instrument to play by his father Buzz who was one of the great bandleaders of his time. Of all the instruments at his disposal he picked the accordion. Why? Because it wasn't a guitar which everyone seemed to play at the time. After many years of the accordion club circuit, Duffy hooked up with an old school mate and formed Los Calamari Band. This is where Duffy's talent matured and also where he met Koffee Bean. After the Calamari lived it's life through, Duffy played around Harford County with Bobby Griffith, The High Road Band and others. Duffy and Ken met again when he Referred Just Bob's band to Ken's studio. The rest is almost herstory. A talented accordion player with a witty and exotic songwriting style, Duffy is truly an original.
Ken Horanoff - Koffee Bean
Plays Bass, but who can't? Ken's been playing bass for almost 40 years. Playing everything from original Christian Heavy Metal (before there was such a thing) to Classic Rock cover tunes to Blues to Beans. Ken built a recording studio when the new family made playing in bars till 2am too much trouble. Tukar Studio was born. The studio has since blossomed to include Harford Music Publishing and Green Chest Records.
Bob Chirnside - Box Turtle Bob

Paul Depew - Baked Bean
Paul started his musical journey playing trumpet at 9 years old and faded fast to playing drums at 10. He started taking lessons from an older neighbor, Warren Patterson, and was given a brand new snare drum for Christmas that year, 1965. In less than 2 years Paul is playing "Teen Centers" with the local group, The Monarch's, and started up a group with neighbors Mark and Jack Bannon (who is the lead and vocal for "Top Shelf" a local duet here in Harford Co.) called "The Red Blood".
Soon Teen Centers turned into parties and clubs and bands were everywhere. Paul has played Rock, Hard Rock, Jazz, Latin, Folk, Swing, Blues, R&B, Soul and originals in bands called The Foundation, The Coasters, The Glen Mohr Trio, The Zee Band, Blues Unchained, The Heaters, The Old Line Boys, and the Bean Soup Project.
One of the Paul's most memorable nights was at a Club in Columbia, MD sitting in with "Alex Caris" the lounge entertainer. One night, when BOZ Scaggs finished his show at Merryweather Post Pavilion, Boz and his band came into the club and all sat in with the Caris trio for the rest of the night! Another best night was when our band, The Foundation, was called to be the band for The Coasters at the Convention Center in O.C. MD. We, The Foundation, were the band for the singing Quartet the Coasters and the house was packed! At the end everyone was in a standing ovation for more. Another great gig was when The Zee Band opened for the Nighthawks at the Saint Marys College end of year concert in 1982.

Jake Horanoff - Bean Sprout
Jake started playing drums pretty much as soon as he could walk. With a drum set always ready in dad's studio, he would come out and bang away to his hearts content. He started taking lessons when he was 6. He might still be young at 17 but he sure can keep up with the old guys.
